Founded by Pak Ciputra in 1993,

The hotel goes beyond servicing their guests, however, and pays homage to its famously compassionate founder, known for his drive to empower his employees and other working Indonesians. To honour this legacy, Hotel Ciputra Jakarta is celebrating their three-decade milestone by partnering with Karyabilitas, a platform that facilitates employment opportunities and entrepreneurship for differently-abled citizens, from full-time work placements to making fashion and food products. Together, three remarkable individuals have been selected to join the hotel’s team on a part-time basis.
One of the team members from Karyabilitas, Riza, has impaired vision, and though not able to see brings extraordinary perspective to the hotel’s Food & Beverage department where he now works with unwavering dedication and service.
Faiz, another recruit through Karyabilitas, works in Housekeeping administration. Faiz’s remarkable spirit has powered through speech impairments and is able to communicate incredibly effectively through dedication and innovation.
As for Dede, who also has a speech impairment, creativity has been a driving force in his success in
the Pastry department, contributing to the hotel’s culinary excellence.
All three of these members not only inspire Hotel Ciputra Jakarta’s other team members, but has actually cemented the company’s further commitment to foster an inclusive work environment.
